VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Our Vacation Bible School offers a week filled with lots of fun, unique ways to learn about the Bible and an opportunity to make new friends. Children ages 4 to 12 get to spend time singing songs, listening and reading Bible stories, doing skits and crafts, playing games and enjoying healthy snacks. And it’s absolutely free. However, we encourage children to bring various donations to support a special mission project which is different every year. If you want your children to increase their knowledge about Jesus, sign up for our newsletter and we will inform you about upcoming programs and events such as this. It’s also another way for older teenagers to learn and to add volunteering hours.

FAQ – Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is a wonderful interactive opportunity for children to socialize and learn more about God in a relaxed setting. VBS has something for every child, despite each family’s religious views and/or background.

Children ages 4 to 12 are invited to participate. We also welcome teenagers and youth to volunteer to develop leadership skills and teamwork.

Vacation Bible School runs once a year, usually in the month of July.

VBS typically runs for 5 consecutive days, around three to four hours each day.

At Vacation Bible School children learn about God through fun, age-appropriate activities. They’ll enjoy participating in songs, bible stories, prayer, skits, crafts, games, snack breaks and team activities.

Vacation Bible School teachers are church staff as well as church members volunteering their time.

Vacation Bible School is entirely free! Each year we feature a special mission project and encourage our children to bring in various donations (food, clothing, school supplies, hygiene products) for a cause.

We encourage parents of younger children to stay to assist their children with the activities. However, parents of children ages 6 to 12 will sign in their children at the start of the program and sign them out at the end.
